At the moment we have a vacancy for an Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Operations Manager will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of MedEye. This individual will oversee financial processes, manage internal projects, handle supplier negotiations, and manage human resources activities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of juggling multiple responsibilities across different functions.

Key responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Manage basic bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense management.

  • Coordinate with external assistants for tax filings, audits, and official financial reporting.

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Internal Project Management

  • Act as the internal project manager for key organizational initiatives, such as ISO 27001 certification.

  • Develop project plans, set timelines, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders.

Supplier Management

  • Handle orders and maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Assist in or handle contract negotiations and agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This is mostly related to handling 2-3 suppliers manufacturing hardware and consumables.

  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to orders or contracts.

Human Resources Management

  • Oversee HR-related activities, including monitoring employee benefits, salary adjustments, and performance management.

  • Manage employee onboarding, training, and development programs.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Office Administration

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including facilities management, office supplies, and equipment maintenance.

  • Implement and maintain office policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Provide support to the executive team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in at least one of the following areas: financial management, project management, HR.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent data management skills and Excel knowledge

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping software.

  • Project management certification is a plus.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch. Scandinavian language is a plus.
